Your team’s best work shouldn’t get buried in busywork.

AI and operations consulting for the fashion industry.

Imagine opening your inbox and finding the emails that actually need your attention, your follow-ups ready to review, and your priorities already organized.

Or finishing a production meeting with the decisions, deadlines, and next steps already captured, without someone spending the afternoon pulling it all together.

Most teams are so busy keeping up with the work that they rarely have time to ask whether there's a better way to do it.

That's where I come in. I help fashion businesses uncover opportunities they may not have considered, whether that's through practical AI training, simpler processes, or systems that make the day-to-day work easier.

I’m Laura Birbrower, former Partner and SVP of Fashion Services at KCD. I spent over 20 years leading fashion teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing collection management and show operations. I understand the pressure of delivering exceptional work when expectations are high.

Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it’s a better process. My job is to help you know the difference and make the changes work in practice.

WHO I WORK WITHFashion moves fast. Your business needs to keep up.

Fashion Brands

A sample is delayed, a fitting gets moved, and suddenly the look list, shoot schedule, and campaign timeline all need checking.

A connected workflow could flag every affected deadline and prepare the updates for review. Once approved, revised information could go automatically to production, merchandising, and marketing, without someone copying the changes into several places and sending another round of emails.

Casting, Model and Talent Management Agencies

A client moves a shoot date after talent has already been booked. Now you’re reconfirming availability, checking flights, changing hotels and transfers, and coordinating people coming from different cities.

With booking and travel details connected, that date change could flag the arrangements needing attention and bring together revised options for your team to review. Each person’s preferences, confirmations, and itinerary would stay with their booking. Once changes are approved and arrangements confirmed, updated details could go automatically to the relevant talent, agents, and production contacts.

Creative Production Companies

A shoot date changes, the client adds another location, or the budget gets revised. One decision can affect crew, vendors, equipment, schedules, and costs.

A connected system could flag the related bookings and budget items, prepare revised schedules, and show who needs an update. Your team reviews the implications and approves the changes before notifications go automatically to the people involved.

And when someone asks what changed, what it's going to cost, or who's been notified, that information is already available.

PR, Communications & Marketing Agencies

A client approves new campaign messaging. The account team knows, but creative is still working from yesterday's brief and the media team has the old talking points.

With the right systems in place, that approval could automatically update the shared brief, flag materials that need revising, and notify everyone involved. Each team can see exactly what changed, what needs attention, and what still requires approval before anything goes out.

And when the client asks for an update, the latest information is already there. No need to track down three different people to figure out where things stand.

What does your team need?

You can come with a clear priority, or just a sense that the work could run better. We can work out where to begin.

Fashion communications agency

Helping a fashion communications agency identify where AI could make a difference.

The agency was introducing Microsoft Copilot and wanted to identify which workflows would be worth building.

I reviewed 36 questionnaire responses and interviewed 10 people across departments. While 75% of respondents were searching multiple places for information before they could act, the conversations revealed something equally important: employees had very different levels of confidence and experience with AI.

That changed my recommendation. Rather than moving straight into building workflows, I recommended practical, company-specific training to help employees get more from the tools they already had.

Alongside the assessment, I built and delivered a customized Copilot guide and interactive library of 38 prompts to the operations director.

Systems I build and use in my own businesses

AI chief-of-staff support

30 minutes to 5 minutes

My morning inbox review.

Scheduled daily and weekly reviews bring my email, priorities, commitments, and follow-ups into view. A morning report highlights what needs my attention, with inbox noise already moved aside.

The system organizes what needs consideration. I decide what happens next.

Knowledge, brand, and content systems

1 week to 2 hours

My hands-on working time to reach a final pitch-deck draft.

I draw on my business knowledge, brand voice, and reusable design assets for pitch decks, new-business materials, lead magnets, and course content.

The system supports research, structure, writing, and assembly. I direct, refine, and review the work.

Event leads and automated follow-up

I connected event lead capture, a custom contact database, and automated email follow-up so new connections don’t become another list for me to manage.

Lead funnels connect into the same system, supporting follow-up beyond the first introduction while leaving the personal relationship with me.

Travel concierge

I built the travel concierge for my own business. It uses a personalized profile for each traveler, whether a client, model, or team member. It researches and compares flights, hotels, and car services, handles bookings, organizes confirmations, creates itineraries, and tracks changes, keeping each traveler’s preferences together throughout the planning.

SEO and AI-search website auditing

My website-auditing system reviews technical SEO, site structure, content, and visibility in traditional search results and AI-generated answers.

It identifies what may be making a business harder to find and produces a prioritized list of improvements across search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).

These examples describe specific workflows and my own experience. They are not a guarantee of results for every business.

Tell me what's taking up your team's time, what's frustrating them, or what you wish worked differently.

We'll look at what's possible, what would actually make a difference, and where it makes sense to start.
